Web Hosting and E-MailAt SJR Premier Computers we provide a comprehensive Web Site service. In the main we use two types of Web Site Dynamic and Static 1. Dynamic A Dynamic site is one that is usually driven by a database. This means that to change the page content, changes are made in the database not directly on the page. A Dynamic site would have a management site linked to it so the owner could make changes and manage the site their selves. Typical use for a dynamic site would be an online shop where products and prices are changed frequently. The benefit of this is that changes are made when you want and there is not a need to wait for someone else to make the changes. A typical example can be found at www.ribbonsandtulle.co.uk 2. Static A Static site is one that the content does not change very often. Changes to a Static site would mean that the page content would need to be changed and this would normally mean that you would need to pay someone outside your organisation to make these changes. A typical example can be found at www.jk-sheds.co.uk After our initial meeting with you to find out your requirements, we will then do everything else for you. We will acquire your domain name for you if it is available, if this is not (usually because someone else has bought it first) then we search to find one that is the nearest match to your original request. The next step in the process is to design your site using the information provided by yourself. During the design and creation phase your site will be available for you to look at. We will provide you with an internet address so you follow its progress although it will not be available to the general public or listed in any search engines. The reason for this is that no one wants to see a site under development they are only interested in the finished article and it gives you they chance to make comments and changes before the site is published to the World Wide Web. Once you are happy with the design and content of the site we will then publish the finished site to the internet. Along with hosting your web site we will provide you with up to five POP3 E-Mail addresses free of charge.
